Every Dakota Lithium LiFePO4 battery sold through LFPO4 comes with the full manufacturer 11-year warranty. This is not prorated — it is full replacement coverage.
What is Covered
- Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
- Cell failure under normal use conditions
- BMS (Battery Management System) malfunction
- Capacity falling below 80% of rated capacity within warranty period
What is Not Covered
- Physical damage from drops, impacts, or submersion beyond IP65 rating
- Damage from using incorrect charger settings (non-LiFePO4 profiles)
- Unauthorized modifications to the battery or BMS
- Normal wear from use beyond rated cycle life
How to File a Warranty Claim
- Email support@lfpo4.com with your order number and description of the issue
- Include photos of the battery, terminals, and any visible damage
- We will respond within 1 business day with next steps
- If approved, we handle the RMA process directly with Dakota Lithium
