Carriers: FedEx Ground or UPS Ground. LiFePO4 batteries are regulated as Class 9 dangerous goods and ship by ground transport only — no air freight. As a trained dangerous-goods shipper, we handle all required UN-spec packaging, labeling, and documentation. We ship from Prince George, BC (Canada orders) and Blaine, WA (US orders) to addresses across Canada and the United States.
Delivery time: 3-7 business days after shipping depending on your location. Canadian orders typically arrive within 5-10 business days.

Ship the item back
Pack the battery in its original packaging. We’ll provide a prepaid return label for unused items in original condition.
Get your refund
Once we receive and inspect the return, your refund is processed within 3-5 business days back to your original payment method.

- Opened/used batteries may be subject to a restocking fee at our discretion

Damaged, Defective, or Swollen Batteries — Do Not Ship These Yourself
A damaged, leaking, or swollen lithium battery is a safety hazard and cannot be sent through normal parcel channels or dropped in a mailbox. Email support@lfpo4.com before returning it — include your order number and photos. We arrange a compliant dangerous-goods return (prepaid DG packaging or a local drop-off / recycling option) and process your replacement or refund. Never put a damaged battery in regular packaging.
Warranty
11-Year Manufacturer Warranty
Every Dakota Lithium battery comes with an 11-year manufacturer warranty — the longest in the industry. Victron components carry their own manufacturer warranty. If anything fails under normal use, contact us and we’ll handle the warranty claim process with the manufacturer on your behalf.
Warranty claims: Email support@lfpo4.com with your order number and a description of the issue. Include photos if possible. We’ll coordinate with Dakota Lithium or Victron directly — you don’t need to contact the manufacturer yourself.
