The Dakota Lithium 12V 20A LiFePO4 Charger is a high-output charging solution designed to charge larger 12 volt lithium iron phosphate batteries quickly and safely. Delivering 14.4 volts at 20 amps, this charger is ideal for users who need faster turnaround times without giving up dependable performance.

Built in a high tensile aluminum case for rapid cooling and rated IP67 waterproof, it is ready for demanding marine, RV, off-grid, and outdoor environments. Optimized for Dakota Lithium batteries, it features smart BMS communication to easily restart a battery whose BMS has shut down.

Charging Guidance & Important Notes

• Charge speed formula: Divide your battery amp-hour rating by 20 to estimate charging time. Example: a 54Ah battery charges in about 2.5 hours.
• Best battery lifespan: Dakota Lithium recommends a charging rate of 0.3C or less for longest life (charger amp rating should be ~1/3 or less of the battery Ah rating).
• Connection instructions: Install the included ring terminals to the battery first (black to negative, red to positive), then connect the charger through the Anderson plug.
• Not for Lead Acid or SLA: Optimized strictly for LiFePO4 batteries. Using a standard SLA charger on lithium may reduce performance, and using this lithium charger on SLA is not recommended.
