Important: Cold Weather Warning
This battery does NOT have Even-Heat technology. Do not charge below 32°F (0°C). Charge indoors or in heated spaces during cold weather. Discharging works fine down to -20°F — only charging must stay above freezing.

FAQ
Single-case 24V vs two 12V in series — which is better?
Single-case advantages: simpler wiring (2 terminals vs 4), no series cables, no cell imbalance between batteries, lighter total weight (24.9 lbs vs ~55 lbs for 2× 12V 100Ah), and one BMS managing all cells together. The tradeoff: you can’t use one of the 12V batteries for something else. For pure 24V trolling, single-case wins on simplicity and weight.
Can I use this for a 24V trolling motor AND charge it from my 12V alternator?
Not directly. A 12V alternator can’t charge a 24V battery. You need either: (1) the 24V 5A or 20A wall charger at the dock, (2) a 24V solar setup with MPPT controller, or (3) a specialized 12V-to-24V DC-DC charger. The Victron Orion-Tr 12/24 would work but isn’t in our current lineup.
What charger do I need?
Any 24V LiFePO4 charger with 28.8V max output. The Dakota Lithium 24V 5A is the budget option (12-hour charge). The 24V 20A Waterproof is for fast charging and permanent onboard install (3-hour charge). Do NOT use a standard 24V lead-acid charger — they charge to 29.4V+ which can damage cells.
